Meet Dr. Bryan Moore

Originally from Texas, Dr. Bryan Moore has spent nearly two decades helping patients feel more comfortable during dental surgery. Through partnerships with numerous dental practices throughout the DFW area, he has helped thousands of patients receive high-quality dental care. From a young age, Dr. Moore was interested in the medical field and enjoyed working with his hands. While he was still in high school, he realized dentistry offered the right combination of both interests. At that point, he decided to move away from pursuing baseball and focus on becoming a dentist instead. Today, he loves being able to turn wisdom tooth extractions into a calmer, more manageable experience for patients.

Dr. Moore completed his undergraduate education at the University of Texas at Austin before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry. He then completed a General Practice Residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. From 2005 to 2018, he served as Chief of Dentistry at Medical City Hospital in Dallas. He is currently an adjunct professor at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and regularly lectures on oral surgery, sedation, and in-office emergency treatment for general dentists. Dr. Moore is also a Fellow of the American Association of Hospital Dentistry and has been inducted as a Fellow in both the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists. He is even a Master in the College of Sedation.

Dr. Moore is an active member of the Texas Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Texas Academy of General Dentistry. He previously served as President of the Dallas Chapter of the Academy of General Dentistry as well as President of the Texas Academy of General Dentistry from 2019 to 2020. He also completed a four-year assignment as the American Dental Association’s representative to the Council on Dental Education and Licensure Anesthesiology committee and has received nominations for both the Texas Academy of General Dentistry’s “New Dentist of the Year” and “Dentist of the Year” awards.

At home, Dr. Moore has been married to his wife for over two decades and has a daughter and son. Their family enjoys staying active through hockey, soccer, and wake surfing during the summer months. Away from dentistry, hockey remains one of Dr. Moore’s biggest interests, and he jokingly considers himself a permanent NHL free agent.
